And then I had to rethink it.
When I was a child, I was mortified when any of my shortcomings were shared with others. I know my daughter is only 4, but someday she will read what I have written. She may be bothered with it, she may not. I'm not sure.
My goal in sharing our struggles is not to humiliate her, but to put my observations in writing. I tend to let things go when I've written them out. I sometimes get advice on how to help. Both positive things. But at what cost does my clarity of thought trump my daughter's dignity?
So, no funny/honest insights on my kids today. Maybe a little bit of insight for me instead.
You are one wise momma.
