It's Spreading!!!

After literal months of waiting, the first tooth fell out while she was eating an apple.  The second one was starting to be loose, but based on experience, it would be at least a month before it fell out.

The timing changed a little when we decided to play wrestle.  With large bean bags.  I popped a bean bag in her face and her tooth tumbled out.  Quick, easy, painless.  The look on her face was pure shock.  But she was excited the Tooth Fairy would be visiting again so quickly.

Now, the experiments begin.  What can she eat while missing her two top teeth?  And will Daddy teach her to spit, while he has a chance?  I'm hoping for a few snake impersonations myself.  And the Indian Princess desperately wants her to sing, "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth."

Mourning

I wonder
When we go to a funeral
Of a person who was horrid to us.
And we struggle to speak or think kind things of her.
And are riddled with grief.

Are we mourning the person that she was,
Or mourning the relationship that we wanted it to be?
And the realization that we will never be able to resolve it.
